Although it has been over a year since the Eaton Fire, many families are still working to rebuild their lives. We are asking for your generosity and support as they continue their recovery. With this goal in mind, we are proud to welcome you to our second Skate for LA fundraiser on March 14th, 2026.
Hosted by Kelsey, Ailis, and Carys, this event brings together three longtime members of the Pasadena Figure Skating Club who share a passion for giving back to their community. Kelsey is a sophomore at Maranatha High School, and Ailis and Carys are freshmen at Westridge School. All three have been skating with the club for over five years and are excited and humbled to continue supporting families affected by the fire.
The idea for this fundraiser began the morning after the first night of the fire, when Kelsey saw the Pasadena Convention Center—located just behind her rink—being transformed into an evacuation center. That moment inspired the first Skate for LA fundraiser last year. Its success was made possible in large part by the dedication of Ailis, Carys, and their family, and their continued commitment has helped make this year’s event possible.
We invite you to join us for an evening of skating, music, and community as we work together to make a difference. All donations are welcome, and every contribution helps bring hope to families still on their journey to recovery. We look forward to seeing you there!
All proceeds will be donated to the following organizations:
Pasadena Educational Foundation - PEF Eaton Fire Response Fund
Eaton Fire Relief & Recover Fund at Pasadena Community Foundation
Altadena Girls
