For: the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce and Dominga Avenue residents organizing the 2026 Dominga Halloween Candy Drive.

Each Halloween, thousands of trick-or-treaters descend on Dominga Avenue — and the residents go all out to make the night magical.

There’s just one catch: that’s a LOT of candy.

Dominga has become a Halloween destination for families from all over the area, and year after year, the neighbors who live there shoulder much of the cost of keeping all those treat bags full. A single household can hand out thousands of pieces of candy in just a few hours.

So the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with Dominga residents again for the 2026 Dominga Halloween Candy Drive — giving the wider community a chance to help support the neighbors who make this Fairfax tradition possible.

Last year, our first candy drive raised $1,200 and provided approximately 300 pounds of candy to Dominga households. This year, we're aiming for $2,500 so we can spread even more candy — and a little more of the cost — across the community.

Want to help? Even a small donation goes a long way:

$25 ≈ 250 pieces of candy

$50 ≈ 500 pieces

$100 ≈ 1,000 pieces

Every dollar raised goes directly toward purchasing candy to distribute to participating Dominga households.

Help us keep Dominga crawling with candy, laughter, and a little mischief — without asking the neighbors to foot the whole bill.

Thank you for chipping in!
