The 2025 Post Pride Fund by Rose in the Dark

Supporting Black Queer, Trans, and Non-Binary Sex Workers & Artists

Every year, during Black History Month and Pride Month, Black queer, trans, and non-binary folks—especially artists, gig workers and sex workers—are in high demand. We show up, we perform, we provide the vibe, and we hold space. But once the celebrations and campaigns are over, the bookings slow, the emails stop, and the support fades.

We’re often left overworked and trying to make those income streams stretch much farther than they can.

That’s why we're seeking contributions to the the Post Pride Fund!

We are raising $5,850 to provide direct mutual aid to Black LGBTQIA2+ sex workers and artists once Pride Month ends.

$5,000 will be redistributed directly to our community

$850 will cover GoFundMe’s fees and payment for the labor of organizing. (organized by Thiccshake, a fat Black queer femme sex worker ❤️)
