2024 MAPP Team Annual Turkey Drive

HELLO ALL!!!!

I am Michael DeBiase - Owner of MAPP Team: Michael DeBiase Premium Properties Team powered by Keller Williams Gold Coast. My father is Joseph DeBiase, a Deacon at Holy Family Church in Fairfield.

We started a “Turkey” fundraiser 13 years ago with hopes of helping a couple of less fortunate families. Our first year we accomplished our goal of helping 20 families have an amazing thanksgiving dinner. Fast forward 11 years later, and I am excited to announce that we have continually reached over 10,000 families in the past several years. My goal this year is to reach an additional 1,500 families!

How do we do it??? Through a lot of phone calls, driving and social media posts. Mainly through connections with family, friends, clients, and local businesses.

In short, through generous people like yourselves making donations! Once again, this year we are forced to do a more hands-off approach and are asking for strictly monetary donations through our GoFundMe Page or in-person donations due to COVID concerns and dietary and housing restrictions.

100% of proceeds go to less fortunate families throughout the entire state. With our rapid growth over a decade, we have extended our efforts to now include: Fairfield’s Operation Hope, Bridgeport Rescue Mission, DCF, Optimus Health Care, Under the Bridge Foundation, multiple food pantries and multiple churches throughout the area. We have become one of the largest donation hubs in the entire state.

I reminisce of how we started this and where we are today. How many amazing pictures and letters I have received from children and parents. I honestly cannot think of anything more rewarding. So, it isn’t a question of why I do this? It is more of a question, why haven’t I been doing it longer. I thank you for your continued participation. I publicly post every donation received on Facebook for all to see. It is amazing to watch the giving spirit and how contagious it is!!
