EQDG continues its mission to build a safer, more inclusive, and more welcoming community for LGBTQ+ people in Downers Grove and surrounding areas. As we wrap up 2025, we’re reflecting on a year of meaningful progress. Our "Everyday Advocacy Workshop" gave the community tools to be better allies. "One Book One Town" engaged readers through several events, and the classic Pride Windows in downtown DG once again brighten up our community with Pride during June. These initiatives and others moved our mission forward and reminded us how powerful collective action can be.

Pride Fest 2025 stood out as our biggest celebration yet, welcoming over 600 attendees along with record number of booths representing youth groups, nonprofits, and LGBTQ+ affirming businesses.

As we look ahead, we’re focused on sustaining and expanding this work but we can’t do it without you. Every donation, big or small, fuels our education, advocacy, and community-building programs.
