2025 IMMAF World Championships

Hello! My name is Paul Keane and I’m an MMA fighter fighting out of Conriocht MMA in Athenry , Galway.

I have been selected to join the National squad and represent Ireland at an international level in the IMMAF World Championships this year , taking place in Georgia this September.

This prestigious competition brings together the worlds top amateur fighters and allows athletes to showcase their skills on an international platform.

It has been my dream for years to represent my country on the world stage and I’m very proud to have the opportunity to do that.

However, as an athlete competing at this level, training demands are intense, and costs associated with medical bills, travel, accommodation, entry fees, equipment, nutrition , and recovery practices quickly add up.

My reason for making this gofundme me, is because unfortunately , amateur MMA is not recognised by Sport Ireland. This means access to funds, sports grants etc that are available to other combat sports athletes , like boxers and judoka, are not available for our MMA gym. All proceeds raised here would go towards the previously mentioned expenses.

Any support , no matter how big or small would mean the world to me and my team. It would allow us to fully focus on our training and representing Ireland to the best of our ability. I’m incredibly grateful for every bit of help and encouragement I’ve received on this journey so far.
