Early Intervention (Aberdeen) is a volunteer-led safe space for Neurodivergent children and their families. We have operated every week from Ferryhill Community Centre for almost 4 Years. Through parents own fundraising efforts, we have facilitated therapy services for our children, including speech and language therapy, Art Therapy, Music Therapy, Sensory Integration and Animal Assisted Therapy.

We also work in collaboration with a number of local organisations, arranging themed parties, play dates and exciting experiences and workshops for children with disabilities and additional support needs.

We have hundreds of families who attend our sessions regularly with 159 children and their families attending in the last few weeks alone. We still have no paid staff, no fixed premises, no storage space and still operate as a community group with minimal funding grants.

✨ We want this Christmas 2025 to be our most magical ever! ✨

To make sure as many of our regular attendees as possible can join in the festive fun, we have 22 Christmas sessions planned including festive Art therapy, Music Therapy and Child Physiotherapist aswell as multi sensory, christmas parties, soft play dates and santas grottos.
