2025 Bradley Beach Badge Initiative

We are so very fortunate and grateful to live in the beautiful community of Bradley Beach, NJ. Bradley Beach has a unique character and charm and some of the loveliest beaches at the Jersey Shore.

Several of us, “Friends of Bradley Beach”, started a program several years ago to fund the purchase of beach badges for families in our community who may lack the resources to afford them. For parents with young children and without the economic means to access the beach, the summer months can be sweltering and confining. Families with young children may only be able to go to the beach, swim, or cool off in the ocean in the evenings when the waters are unguarded and unsafe.

Friends of Bradley Beach set out to make life a little easier for these neighbors of ours and the Bradley Beach community RALLIED since we began this initiative. Since 2022, the community donated over $9,000 and helped over 70 Bradley Beach families with young children access the beach that exists in their own front yard.
