THE "BESTEST" 2024 CHRISTMAS ANGELS CHILDREN'S HOLIDAY EVENT
I am Bishop Donna Hubbard, the Founder and Executive Director of Woman At The Well Transition Center. For 30 years, I and a dedicated Board of Directors have worked hard, worked together, and worked humbly to bring attention to the challenges faced by women impacted by incarceration and human trafficking and how this impacts their families.
Our mission is to assist incarcerated, formerly incarcerated women and women impacted by incarceration and human trafficking, to regain their lives, their families, and their dignity.
As a human trafficking survivor and formerly incarcerated mother, I realized that if we don't work to change our lives, no one else can do it for us. WATW was founded on the principles that these women and children are members of families and communities that must embrace them and encourage them to empower them to change their lives and circumstances.
My testimony of overcoming addiction, exploitation, incarceration, and abuse is the motivating factor in designing programs and creating projects that reflect our desire to have better and do better to be better. While I am extremely humbled and proud of the many awards I have received, I am most proud of our work to reunite almost 5000 women, children, and families in the 3 decades we have served this population of underserved families.
At our 2024 Christmas Angels Children's Holiday Event [CACHE] we are excited to celebrate our 30th Anniversary with the communities, families, children, businesses, agencies and individuals who have supported us and our programs. Our major fundraising goals will help purchase the property for the Well Woman Ranch and continue our mission to expand programs that will reach even more women and families impacted by human trafficking and incarceration nationally and globally.
