2024 Warrane Workcamp - Binjari
Donation protected
Binjari is an indigenous community in the Northern Territory, home to over 300 people covering 81 hectares of land. In August 2024, a group of students from Warrane College UNSW, will travel to Binjari for a period of two weeks and assist the Binjari Community Aboriginal Corporation with the construction of a community centre for the children of Binjari.
This project will be beneficial in both educational and community aspects for children of school-going age, and will be an investment in the future of the community. Each participant of the workcamp will pay for his own airfares and upkeep - funds raised will be used to support the building of the community centre.
