2024 Thanksgiving Effort To Feed Families @ LPMES

Hi, we are Jason Hecker and Kurtis Cross. We've been friends since we met in high school 35+ years ago. For 30+ years Kurtis & his family have served various communities in the DC area, feeding thousands of families. In conjunction with area charities, this effort has grown with Jason's family joining the effort a few years ago. Along with Marquis Evans, this effort (Chores 4 Charities - Non-Profit) extends this reach in Montgomery, Prince George's & Frederick Counties, MD.

For 2024, we again come together committed to multiply our impact.

We are raising money to make sure that every family at Langley Park-McCormick Elementary School in Hyattsville, MD receives a full holiday meal.

This is a community that needs -- and truly appreciates -- our help!

There are 500 families. The subsidized cost of each meal will be $20. So, our fundraising target is $10,000.
