Hello,
My name is Hailey and I am the Founder of the Stillborn Still Loved Foundation. We are awareness advocates for Pregnancy and Infant Loss. We provide resources and grief support to parents that have lost their precious babies. We have pretty big goals for 2024 but we need your help.
2024 Initiatives
- Donate five bereavement suites. Bereavement suites are rooms in the hospital that are intended to make it a little easier on parents that have lost lost their babies. These rooms are “de-hospitalized” to make the room more comfortable for parents to make memories with their babies. The rooms are decorated in a way to bring comfort and have wall art and decor with comforting quotes to remind grieving parents that they are not alone. They also include a library cart that is filled with books for mothers, fathers and siblings to help navigate their grief. Also on the cart are keepsakes, journals, memorial boxes and other items that parents can pick and choose from.
- Donate five cuddle cots. Cuddle cots are specially designed cooling bassinets that keep babies from deteriorating. It allows grieving parents to spend more time with their babies and create the only memories they will ever have of them. These cots truly give the gift of time.
- Donate 100 Grief Boxes. Grief boxes are boxes that are given directly to grieving parents at the hospital when they lose their babies. The box is full of keepsakes, resources and items to help bring comfort.
We know that these are large initiatives but we believe that it can be done with your help. Any donation amount puts us closer to meeting our goals. If you cannot donate, please share.
