February 50 mile run for Misericordia
Tax deductible
The #Feb50:
Five years ago, a colleague and friend of mine decided to challenge ourselves to run 50 total outdoor miles in February, the shortest, and usually the coldest month in Chicago. There are now over 30 of us participating in the #Feb50 in 2024. We have runners from Slalom, Riveron, Hensel Phelps, and other companies who have signed up to join the cause. Last year, we raised $3,700 for Misericordia Home, this year we're hoping to push it to $5,000.
The Cause:
We're running to raise money to benefit Misericordia Home. Misericordia is a place where children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities are provided with the highest quality residential, training, and employment services.
It can be challenging to find access to quality care for people with special needs. Misericordia serves people like my brother Jason, who are unable to live on their own. At Misericordia, there is a real community where folks like Jason can work, live, and thrive.
Please help me reach our goal of raising $5,000 dollars for this amazing cause.
