2024 Boston Marathon Supports A Place To Turn

Running the Boston Marathon has been a dream of mine for more years than I can remember. The marathon is a day where thousands of runners gather for a unified goal; starting together in Hopkinton, pushing themselves and their fellow athletes through the hilly course mentally and physically to finally cross the finish line on Boylston Street. The marathon symbolizes strength, perseverance, dedication and most importantly comradery between athletes; working side by side to achieve their common goal. I’m a mother of three but always make time for my running.

This year I have the pleasure of running the Boston Marathon on behalf of A Place To Turn, an emergency food pantry that provides healthy food choices, diapers, and personal care items to MetroWest residents. They are committed to addressing hunger by serving with dignity, equity, and empathy. A Place To Turn offers assistance in an atmosphere of caring and mutual respect. Items are offered in a supermarket set up for guests to choose their own preferences.

This organization was brought to my attention through a dear friend, Muriel Sypek. Muriel has volunteered at A Place To Turn since 2009. I am honored to represent A Place to Turn and raise money for such a worthy cause in the 2024 Boston Marathon. The organization is one to be commended, strengthening the community and impacting numerous lives daily.
