25th Annual 2023 Akron Juneteenth Festival Hawkins

This year we celebrate 25 years of service, culture and freedom of expression in our African-American Akron Community.Hosted by Akron Black Coalition. The 2023 event will be held on Saturday June 17th at Stoner/ Hawkins Park from 1 to 7 pm.This is event is only made possible through partnership with families, businesses, and community leaders of greater Akron.Your sponsorship helps provide much needed resources and community engagement directly to our local black youth.This year's donations and vendor partnerships will be used to ensure that we keep our event free of charge to the public.Needed services include:FoodSecurityAdvertisementElectricitySanitationChild activitiesCommunity resources give awaysFees and RentalsLast year we partnered with Buchtel CLC, Hightower for Judge, West Akron Parade, and 25+ vendors to provide services to over 300 kids and teens.It's only getting bigger.In addition to donations we need volunteers too!
