For those who don't already know me, my name is Richard Low, I live in Essex UK and am a dad to two beautiful daughters, Amelia (9) and Imogen (5).

In July 2021, we lost the most amazing wife and mum to a three-year battle with Triple Negative Breast Cancer, aged only 34. Faye was an incredible person, not only to us but to many others working as a paediatric nurse for our local Children's hospice Little Havens. Faye spent the last few years and months of her life raising awareness of the little know Triple Negative type of Breast Cancer, helping people far and wide catch it early but also fundraising to help those with similar diagnoses and support ongoing research.

I promised Faye that I would continue her legacy by sharing her story, raising awareness and supporting those living with and coming out the other side of this terrible disease.

After much thought, I've decided that the best way for me to do this currently is to work with a local charity called Bosom Pals Southend (https://www.bosompalssouthend.org.uk) and create "Faye's Fund", which will support their TNBC patients and survivors in whatever way they can.

To kick off the fundraising for "Faye's Fund", I have foolishly decided to take on the ambitious challenge of summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. On February 3rd 2023 I will start the 7-day 5,895 metres (19,341 ft) trek to the summit, and I need your donations and motivation to get me to the top. The trip is already fully funded, so every penny you donate will go to those in need.

I will be arranging several training treks over the next five months, which I'm hoping some of you will join me on, so please watch this space.
