The Summit PTO is kicking off the fourth year of the UN-FUNDRAISER, which is a direct ask for funds. This replaces the magazine sales held in years past. There are multiple benefits to this approach, including a higher percentage of funds going directly to the school and less work on behalf of our families.

How are the dollars used? We plan to use fundraiser dollars for teacher classroom grants, the community day service project, student recognition, and teacher appreciation.

Here are some examples of what we will use funds for this year:

Teacher Grants: Purchasing a new laminator and supplies for the school

Community Day: Funding Meals from the Heartland/Johnston Partnership service projects for our students.

Is there any fun? Absolutely! As we meet these totals, the students (and parents) will be able to celebrate:

$5,000 Silly String the Principals

$10,000 Dunk Tank for Selected Staff

$15,000 Decorate the Principal as a sundae

$20,000 Treat Truck for Students (TBD)

Celebrations will be held during each lunch. The big kick-off for the kids will be on September 19th, with the end of the campaign on October 10th.
