FIRST Team 836 - The RoboBees! A community-based FIRST Robotics team based in Hollywood, Maryland. The RoboBees have qualified for the 2022 FIRST World Championships in Houston, Texas based on the team's performance during the competition season.
This competition season has been a wild ride with The RoboBees both winning and being presented an award at all 3 events they have competed at so far this season.

At the end of the normal season, The RoboBees are in first place in the Chesapeake District (1st out of 107 teams in Maryland, DC, and Virginia), the first time in the team's history. With this latest victory, the 2022 season is officially the team's best season ever. The RoboBees are only one of only seventeen teams (out of the 3000+ competing world wide) to have won 3 events so far this season.
With the overwhelming success of this season, the team will be heading to the 2022 FIRST World Championships in Houston, Texas. This event takes places from April 20th to April 23rd 2022. The World Championships will gather together 450 teams from across the world to compete with, and against each other in a celebration of STEM values. This will be the 10th consecutive year that the team will travel to the FIRST World Championships to represent St. Mary's County and the greater Chesapeake District!
