BACK STORY: I am Tessa Warnock Dahlke, the Gold Star (Step) Mom of SSG Jason S. Dahlke, a 1/75 Army Ranger killed by enemy gunfire in Paktika, Afghanistan in 2009. In 2011, I started a personal charity walk in his memory. My goal is to gain support for the Rangers while also reaching the equivalent distance from our home in Jacksonville, FL, to the location where Jason was killed. I got there in 2017.
