2020 Uptown Food Shelf FUNdraiser

Each fall Uptown Rotarians reach out to our friends with the opportunity to help people in our community by supporting Joyce Uptown Food Shelf. The food shelf is an emergency source of food for families and individuals in South Minneapolis. This year is particularly challenging with increased demand caused by the economic impact of the pandemic and unrest in our community.
For over 30 years, Uptown Rotarians have been volunteering at the Food Shelf (pictured below) and we see the impact of your generosity first hand. The food shelf has been re-engineered in 2020 to offer a client choice shopping experience. This enables clients to choose the food they need the most and prefer.
Joyce Uptown Foodshelf's mission is to serve the community with Respect and Dignity. They stand with everyone seeking to root out the injustices within our current systems and support full equity for all people.
