My name is Sunya. In 2018 I set out to get my community to donate 30 warm blankets to homeless people in Chicago & to raise $90 to be able to clean the blankets. That effort turned out to be a great success! I received 44 blanket donations & $148 with which I was able to clean the blankets as well as purchase warm socks for the homeless!

This year, I'm looking to increase our efforts! My goal is to donate 50 blankets as well as 50 $5 Dunkin Donuts Gift Cards to 50 homeless people in Chicago this December so they can buy themselves a small cup of hot chocolate, coffee, or something to snack on. 

I am SUPER confident that together we will achieve this goal! I know that we tend to surprise ourselves with what we can accomplish when we collaborate & work together. I absolutely look forward to the many smiles of wonderment when we accomplish our 2020 goals as well.
