After celebrating 10 years of Carnaval community spirit, we took a 4 year hiatus, but, by popular request…WE ARE BACK!!!
SUPPORT THE SAMBAXÉ 2019 CARNAVAL CONTINGENT!!
This theme of SF Carnaval this year is "Cultura Cura." For us music and dance is one of the most healing aspects of many cultures.
When Dancing, one can leave all their worries behind and just let one's mind, body and soul connect to the music and to the joy of being ALIVE! We are excited to share how our passion for Brazilian music and dance heals the diverse cultures of Sambaxé.
This year Sambaxé will be collaborating with Youth Art Exchange as they are the high school dancers of our contingent. As well as dancers from Zumba with Andreina based out of Oakland.
All our fundraisers support our 2019 Carnaval transport, sound system, related fees, and youth contingent costumes.
Any $ amount helps us make the artistry of producing a carnaval contingent happen and helps to keep the tradition of carnaval alive in our ever changing city!
