The Polar Plunge is an annual fundraiser for Special Olympics West Virginia that will be held on Saturday, February 23 at the Cheat Lake Crab Shack in Morgantown, WV.
Special Olympics WV provides year-round sports training and competition in 18 sports for thousands of individuals with intellectual disabilities, (some of whom also have physical disabilities) that other wise would not be possible for them. Programming is designed to improve their physical fitness, motor skills, sports competency, self-confidence, and well-being, along with providing opportunities to demonstrate their courage and abilities. This is why our First United team wants to help raise money for Special Olympics WV.
If you choose to support our team, your gift will go directly to Special Olympics WV and a receipt will be emailed to you.
Be sure to join us on Saturday, February 23 as our local team of bankers takes the plunge into Cheat Lake and be Freezin' for a Reason!
