From Violence to Victory: 20 Tournaments. 1 City.
Spende geschützt
We’re building something powerful in New York City — and we need your support.
Our year-round programs and events are transforming lives, starting with Battle for the Bridge — our flagship season-opening tournament on June 7th at Brooklyn Bridge Park. This event launches an unprecedented summer of basketball, mentorship, healing, and hope across the city.
We’re gearing up to host 20 tournaments in Summer 2025 alone — creating spaces for joy, connection, and opportunity in communities most underserved and underutilized.
Join us in making this movement possible.
During the summer — statistically the most violent season in NYC — we flood the courts instead of the streets. We turn rivals into rivalries, and hopefully, over time — teammates. We give our youth real opportunities to believe in themselves and their community.
Battle for the Bridge is a powerful day of unity, featuring:
• Full-court games for youth, women, and men from all five boroughs
• Cure Violence and grassroots orgs from across the city working together
• Live DJ, free food, giveaways, MVP awards, and custom jerseys
• Job support, housing access, and youth stipends
• Second chances, real support, and the magic of showing up for each other.
But the impact doesn’t stop there.
We bring this model to parks, blocks, and neighborhoods all over NYC, and those that are too often underserved and overlooked. We don’t just show up once — we show up again and again.
This is a movement, not a moment.
We’re raising $20,000+ to support:
• Battle for the Bridge (June 7th) — permits, security, equipment, meals, and MVP prizes
• 20 tournaments across NYC this summer
• Youth stipends and safe passage / transportation
• Year-round mentorship, healing circles, and workforce development
• A community-wide message: You Matter. You Belong. You Can Win.
We are youth-led, formerly incarcerated, community-rooted, and committed to changing the narrative in NYC. We believe in collaboration over competition, peace over posturing, and showing up with love — every single day.
If you’ve ever been saved by sports…
If you believe in second chances…
If you want to give our youth something better to believe in —
Please donate. Please share. Please support.
With deep gratitude,
