2 Weeks, 1 Mission: Zambia Rhino & Environment Challenge

Donation protected
I am embarking on a two-week World Challenge to Zambia, trading modern comforts for a backpack and a mission. This isn't a typical trip; I will be surviving on a strict, fixed budget, sourcing my meals from local markets and staying in hostels and bush camps. My journey is split between the front lines of white rhino conservation—where I’ll be physically maintaining habitats and caring for these critically endangered giants—and a grueling trek through the Batoka Gorge. From the spray of Victoria Falls to the ancient history of Livingstone’s museums and the daily traditions of indigenous tribes, I am heading to Zambia to learn, to serve, and to protect. Your support helps me bridge the gap between global conservation and local community empowerment.

Day 1: Arrival in Livingstone
Meeting the local community, navigating the local currency, and settling into a hostel to prepare for the journey ahead.

Days 2–5: Wildlife Conservation Focus
Based in a nature reserve, I will be working directly with buffalo, zebra, antelope, and white rhinos. Tasks include maintaining environment fences, feeding, and monitoring these endangered animals.

Days 6–10: The Batoka Gorge & Zambezi Trek
A high-intensity journey through the Batoka Gorge. We will camp each night along the Zambezi River, navigating rocky landscapes and hiking to ancient Baobab trees. We will visit local villages to learn about daily life and source our food from local markets.

Days 11–12: Victoria Falls & Tribal Heritage
Returning to Livingstone to reset before hiking to Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. We will meet with a local indigenous tribe to share a meal and learn about their history and the surrounding wildlife.

Day 13: History & Culture Immersion
A final day dedicated to the history of the region at the Livingstone Museum, followed by a trek through busy markets to support local vendors and a celebratory dinner with the team.

Day 14: The Journey Home
Final pack-up and a 12-hour flight back, carrying the stories and impact of the challenge home.
