This is a long shot.. And I have also reached out to _______ for advice.

But one of my dearest friends, who was raped from 9-18 on a regular basis... Has a daughter who is young. She divorced her dad when the daughter was a baby because he was abusive and threatened to kill her n baby.

Both are ex mennonite.

Also.. HE molested his sisters. They were told to forgive. Supposedly there's a police report, but nothing was done.

Now that the daughter is becoming a young woman , he is filling for full custody.
I cringe at saying that. But it's the only thing that makes sense on why NOW.

He has money, the mom is broke and needs 2k in a week to get an attorney.

She basically has no safe place except me.. And I don’t know  what to do. This is bigger than me.

What can or should we do?”
