We would like to Thank you for taking the Time to read this Memo in regards to helping Save the Jerome Orcutt Boys & Girls Club from losing staff,support programs and from Closing it’s Doors to the Community ..The Orcutt boys & girls club is 501c3 nonprofit organization that is located on the east side of Bridgeport ,one block away from one the Worst corners in the city..We have been open for over 100 years on the corner of Maple & Park st 102 Park st in Bridgeport,CT..Our Executive Director for the past 5yrs is Bob Keeley who is a Retired State Rep for CT . We are looking for your Support to help us keep our Doors open after being Notified by the City Council of Bridgeport that for the 2nd year we will not be receiving funding ..We are in need of Funding to help us to continue to Rejuvenate our Programs ,Facility & Staff moral..Before this Coronavirus pandemic we were providing Afterschool,Evening and Weekend programs for over 100 low ,Moderate & wealthy income youth from Bridgeport and abroad..In our facility we NEED funding to Repair/Upgrade our 3 floor building:Communication,media & arts room,computer room/Classroom ,Weightroom,Swimming pool ,Boxing/Wrestling room and more..So please if you can help us with a donation whether Monetary or equipment it will be Tax deductible..You can donate through GoFundMe ,check ,money order or cash at the Orcutt ..For more info please Contact Program Director Gary Nelson jr [phone redacted] or [phone redacted] or [email redacted]
