Lets Help Poor Afghan Families Amid COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting all of us alike. However, Afghanistan, an underprivileged and vulnerable country with 42% of the population under the poverty line, another 20% just barely above the poverty line, and no specific aid packages in place for the destitute, will be gutted the most. The government of Afghanistan recently announced a 21-day quarantine, which could very well extend beyond that, as a measure to control the spread of the coronavirus, but you could still see people outside, trying to earn a living, because in the words of a vendor, "If the Covid-19 doesn't kills us, startvation will." With your so generous donations, please help needy Afghan people against the coronavirus. Please help save the embarrassment of a daily worker father who would otherwise go home to his children empty-handed. Please think of the street vendors or little kids that wash cars and polish shoes for a living. Your donation will go toward providing food and hygiene items to workers or the unemployed, who currently have no source of income and are in desperate need of relief. Your donation is tax deductible and will be changed to the currency of the country since the website doesn’t operate in the country. To help with distribution of the aids, I’m working with a young group of volunteers and activists from SOLACE FOR CHILDREN and HELPING HAND SOCIETY in Afghanistan. These individuals have significant experience working with local communities and community based organizations and they have done similar projects in the past. It should be pointed out that as a result of working with these organizations, there will be no operation costs, which would gratefully mean more aid to help more families.
