Beautification Of Old South Methodist Church

My name is Ryland Fiscus and I am with Reading Troop 702. I am currently working on my Eagle Scout Community Service Project. Old South Methodist Church is a historic landmark in our town and the landscaping in front of the building been overgrown and ready for a fresh update. The Church is a beautiful landmark in the center of our town, so updating the landscaping will make it even better. Working with a professional Landscape Architect, we have created a plan that will improve the aesthetics of the front of the church for years to come. My project will be to remove the old shrubs and plants that are blocking the building, improve with new soil and replant new shrubs and plants as well as mulching that will not only make the front of the Church look great, but are appropriate for the amount of sunlight that shines on the gardens. I am raising fund to cover the cost all the supplies needed from my project. Donating to this fund will not only make the church look great, but it will also preserve the church, which is a landmark of the town, from being covered in overgrown shrubs.
