Uncertainty has taken over Bharat. Thousands of people are dying daily, gasping for air. Hospitals don't have enough beds or oxygen. Cremation grounds are overcrowded. Families are mourning multiple losses at once.
The light at the end of the tunnel seems distant, but be assured it is still there.
By donating our wealth and voices we can help our Indian brothers and sisters fight back against this pandemic.
The World Hindu Council of America, with support from well-wishers, has already shipped 3 military-grade oxygen generators. Each machine can produce 120 liter of oxygen per minute and is able to support 100+ bed hospitals at a time.
This is 12,000 pound consignment, and we need to pay $40,000 towards logistics in 30 days net.
In addition, we are also looking for ways to ease cremation pains, by setting up 100+ cremation cages and providing eco-friendly cow-dung based logs in collaboration with local NGOs.
This is a time for prayer, but also a time for action.
