As most of you know, I was blessed with a son in 2017. You’ve seen our adventures and watched him grow on social media. Kason is now two and a half—an amazing, smart little boy. And I’ve had the blessing to raise him by myself from almost the beginning. Kason’s father and I separated soon after Kason was born, due to a relationship that wasn’t good for him. Kason and I then moved back to Alabama, a year and a half ago where we could make a fresh start.
We started the divorce process, but we stopped it because I need surgery on a herniated disc. I planned to do the surgery first, and then do the divorce later. But the surgery is delayed while I wait for a new doctor’s appointment .
Currently, I decided to focus on some other personal-health issues, and My ex came to Alabama to get Kason so I could handle those things. They went to Hawaii, where My ex resides and is stationed. Before they left, My ex promised to bring Kason back by February 6, 2020.
After My ex took Kason to Hawaii, he refused to bring him back. He has unexpectedly filed for divorce, and now he’s claiming full custody! I am separated from my baby for the first time in his life, and this is placing a huge, financial burden on me. I have currently drained my savings. I must come up with quite a bit of money for legal fees —and the expenses of this fight.
I have been advised that it is best for my friends and family not to contact My ex about this. We are squared off in our corners, with expenses rising by the hour!
So, I hope you can honor this request.
Kason is my life; I’ve taught him everything he knows. And he is my purpose in life. Keep me in your prayers—as these days are heavy and heartbreaking for me. I want my baby back and he needs me. I’m ready to fight, but I need some help!
I love you all, and I thank you for your help!
