STEM for EM

Donation protected
Our daughter, Emma, has been invited to partake in the National Youth Leadership Forum: Pathways to STEM program. Emma was nominated by her science/G&T teacher as someone who demonstrates exceptional maturity, scholastic merit and leadership potential. It is a week long program over the summer at St. John's University. She will learn about science and technology and medicine. She will learn leadership skills, communication skills and (hopefully) how to be more self-confident. To say that I'm proud is the understatement of the century. I am amazed by her brain, her personality and her heart every day and I'm so glad that she allows others to see it is well. This, of course, comes with a cost...a cost that we hadn't planned for. In effort to allowEmma to partake in this once in a lifetime opportunity , we are humbly asking help from our families and friends. The money raised will go to Emma's tuition for this program, and her "uniform" for the program. I thank you and Emma thanks you, from the bottom of our hearts. She'll be sure to thank you during her Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech.
