Lena’s 28 Jun Christmas Project

Hey friends!!! For all of you who know me, you know that my greatest passion in LIFE is children. From being a single mama to my son to helping other children throughout the world. Also if you know me you know that my favorite time of year is CHRISTMAS! *cue Mariah Carey’s Christmas soundtrack* I’ve recently joined a humanitarian organization called 28 Jun. that helps raise money to help families in need back home throughout the Balkan’s. This year I’m putting both of my greatest passions together! This winter break as members of 28 Jun. my son and I are going back home to Europe. We’ll be helping those in need by handing out presents to children in poor villages, schools, and special needs children throughout Serbia, Krajina ( my ♥️) and Republika Srpska. But I need your help! I am hoping to raise as much money as possible to be able to provide these children with gifts to show them that someone is thinking about them and that they haven’t been forgotten. Most of them haven’t had easy childhoods so it is my mission to bring smiles to as many little faces as I can! What better time to teach our children what the season of giving is all about than now? For your children, its one gift less... but for those children it might be their only gift. So please find it in your heart to donate, however much you can, and share this post! Let’s spread the word! But most importantly, sit down with your children and start the conversation! Let them in on whats going on, show them how truly blessed they are, and teach them about empathy!! Get them in on this, and watch them surprise YOU. My current goal is to raise $10,000. I can promise you a few things: The first thing being that 100% of your donation will go towards these kids. I will personally be handling these funds and purchases to make sure that they go to those in need. The second thing is that I will record the journey back home so you will see first hand what was bought and distributed. Finally, and most importantly, I promise that you will make a difference in their lives and bring a smile to a child’s face! :) Lets show the Balkans how kind and loving we all are here in Canada!
