Tuesday Talks and Lunch : Homelessness Awareness

Our mission is give back to those that have less through means of friendship and food. Giving back has always been something we've been passionate about and doing so with the right intentions has always been a priority for our efforts.We give back simply because if we have more than enough we should give some to those that don't have enough.We've been going out in San Francisco's financial district every Tuesday to converse and have lunch with some of the homeless and hungry. We've been spending $6 per meal, feeding about 10 people per outing, which equates to about $60 per outing. Our goal is to offset our weekly costs moving forward. Your donation can help us raise enough money to fund our efforts throughout the next couple of months or even a year. If we raise more than enough money for the year we have plans to donate the money to a charity that helps homelessness in the Bay Area.Additionally, we are taking the time to document, via photo and video, some participants stories and ideas. We want to inspire viewers to get in touch with a deeper sense of appreciation for life and every and anything that comes with it. We also want to separate people from misconceptions and stereotypes about homeless people or people with mental health issues.
