This is Dena. She’s my niece and I love her dearly. She was born with a Congenital Heart Defect, requiring her to have open heart surgery throughout different points in her life. Her next scheduled round of surgery is this Thursday. This is a super intense moment for her and her family - emotionally and financially. Her parents will be taking a couple weeks off work to care for her in her recovery. Not working means that money isn’t coming in. Unfortunately, bills still come and people still need to eat - money be damned. I’m trying to raise money for my niece and her family to float on while they’re off work, caring for Dena. She’s an amazing little lady with the most amazing parents, who are already beside themselves with worry and uncertainty. Add the stress of how bills are going to paid on top of that, and you’ve got one stressful cocktail. Please help take some weight off their shoulders.
