To Keep My Kids Off The Streets
Donation protected
My family and I are being kicked out of our home. I am on disability and have two children. Hansel is 14 years old and Jan is 9 months old. We do not have money for a deposit for a new apartment and we will be on the streets if we cannot come up with money. All I can do now is ask for help. I’ve been homeless before but never with children. One of my worst fears is trying to care for a baby on the streets. A baby needs a place to crawl; a crib; running water to make formula; a bath tub; clean clothes. I can’t even fit everything he needs to survive for a day into the bottom of my stroller. I’ve contacted local charities for help. In my area there are no charities who will help with a deposit to prevent homelessness. We would have to already be homeless. Please help us. My children need a home.
Update June 7th 2019
Most of what we have collected so far was used to pay a debt that prevents us for being accepted as renters. So even though we have gotten over $1300 in funds we still need an additional $1400. All I can do now is beg for help. I have tried selling my art but no one bought anything. Please help us.
