I'm Travis! Middle Earth has been my home away from home, and my escape from the pains of RL for almost 14 years now. My first real home in LOTRO was the server Landroval, where I've made far too many friends to count! After the recent server shift, I've found myself on Pippin and have made new wonderful friends there

As someone who has crippling social anxiety, being able to access Middle Earth through LOTRO is my main way of getting out into the world... as most days I cannot leave my house.

What brings me here to GoFundMe is that almost a month ago, my PC, my key to the beautiful escapism of Middle Earth, started having painful issues. It would crash, it would freeze up... It wasn't good.

It's now been completely repaired, but the time taken to determine the issue and the eventual replacement of the CPU has driven the cost up higher than I can handle.

I'm currently able to cover a little over half the cost, but being on a fixed income means that I wouldn't be able to get the PC back until after the first of July (when I'll get paid again and be able to pay the full amount).

I'm reaching out to this AMAZING community, asking that if there is anyone who can help just a bit, it'll get me back into the beauties and wonders of Middle Earth, to be able to hang out with all of you and to step beyond the four walls that for the past month have felt almost like a prison.
