Hello! We are Ben and Lisa, a young family who recently had our first child in 2011. Our baby girl, Anna Noelle, is a sweet, vibrant girl who brings joy to so many people.

Anna was born with a rare congenital condition that resulted in an amputation of her left leg at the age of 1. Now she must wear a prosthesis in order to walk and live the life of a normal child. We are a middle-class family with high-deductible health care insurance, and the out-of-pocket costs for prosthetics for a growing child are extremely difficult for us to manage on our own, yet we are not eligible for any sort of special assistance.
