Help Bring My Baby Teddie Home

My name is Sophie, and I am creating this GoFundMe because my 19-month-old son, Teddie, was taken by my ex-partner on Sunday, 23rd November 2025 at 10am.

He was meant to have a short visit, but instead he never returned him and has abducted him to Scotland.

My ex has only seen Teddie for one hour since May. Our relationship in the past was extremely toxic, involving domestic violence, criminal damage, emotional abuse, and threatening behaviour. He has never had regular contact with Teddie and has been living in Scotland on and off for the past year.

I was trying to slowly introduce contact by allowing him to see Teddie on his own for just two hours, hoping things could be calm for Teddie’s sake. Instead, he disappeared with him.

Why This Is So Urgent

I have been Teddie’s full-time caregiver every single day since he was born.

He has medical needs that require consistent care:

• Fluid on the kidneys — he needs daily antibiotics, which he is not currently receiving

• He recently had airway surgery in September 2025

• He is only just starting solid food and needs special formula, which he also isn’t getting right now

The thought of him being 8 hours away, without his proper medication, routine, or the family he knows and feels safe with, is devastating.

I have four other children, and we are all absolutely heartbroken and terrified. Teddie has never spent a night away from home until now.

Why I Need Help

I’m desperately trying to bring my baby home where he belongs.

To do this, I need to hire a private solicitor to support me through the legal process and court proceedings. Unfortunately, the costs are far beyond what I can manage alone.

I’m not someone who usually asks for help, but I am truly desperate. Any support—even just sharing this page—means the world to us.
