19 Miles For 'No Just' and Alzheimer's Scotland
Donation protected
Last October, I began volunteering with the university at a Friday Art Group in Aberdeen—a space where those living with Alzheimer’s and dementia can express themselves through art in a supportive, community-driven environment. Having lost my granny to Alzheimer’s five years ago, this cause is deeply personal to me. Seeing Derek, who runs the group, bring so much care and energy each week has inspired me to give back.
On April 12th, I’ll be walking 19.6 miles (31.5km) from Banchory to Torry Battery lighthouse as part of Greyhope’s challenge, and I need your support! Your donations will help the group purchase more art supplies, explore new creative opportunities, and attend workshops across Aberdeen. Half of the funds will also go to Alzheimer Scotland to help keep groups like our own have the money to keep running along with helping to find a cure for Alzheimer’s.
I’ll be sharing updates on my journey, but for now, any contribution, big or small, will make a difference in the lives of those affected by Alzheimer’s. Thank you for your support!!
