Every child deserves to feel seen and valued, with joy, especially during the festive season.

Right now, there are over 172,000 children living in temporary accommodation across the UK.

Children will wake up on on Christmas Day without somewhere to call home, the added pressures of temporary accommodation reduce the possibility of a gift to open.

I want to change that.

Over the next four weeks, I’m asking for your help to raise as much as possible so that every pound donated goes directly towards giving a gift to a child living in temporary accommodation.

Unlike large charities where donations can get lost in the organisation’s overheads, this campaign is completely direct. Everything raised will go straight to the children (minus transaction fees)

To ensure families receive this support with dignity we will be gifting cards directly to those who need the support, this lets families choose something meaningful to them and age appropriate. This also means your donation reaches them faster and with very little effort in time for the holidays.

I’m working with stakeholders who are linked in with schools across the country. Some with the highest rates of homelessness. they will be identifying with dignity those children for whom this would make a world of difference.

Children living in uncertainty will be exposed to challenges that make holidays over the winter feel even more isolating. A small act of kindness can remind them that people still care.

A £30 donation will buy a gift for one child.
