We have hired a lawyer to help us stop this Clover Court development for the chronically homeless and severely mentally ill with no on-site care within 600 feet of one of our elementary schools. Today we learned that Washington County plans to give them another $100K to make one of the six apartments for somone leaving the state hospital or facility once again with no onsite care. The county and Luke-Dorf just continue to hid/lie about everything going on with the project. We need a lawyer who knows the laws regarding R-5 zoning and infill. We will continue to fight this project because it is the wrong location (next to our elementary school) and wrong for the future tenants with no onsite care. If they receive this $100K then the price for 6 400sq/feet apartments are now up to $1,531,000...Luke-Dorf will be in a landlord-tenant relationship with the residents. This means Luke-Dorf will take no responsbility for these tenants.
