The 15th annual Playground Phenomenon Park Party is happening on Saturday, June 24th underneath the St. John's bridge in Cathedral Park. This is a multi-generational gathering of the Portland dance music community to celebrate this wonderful culture and all the beautiful people it brings together.

The event is always 100% free and volunteer-run. We raise the money we need to produce this event by asking for donations from the community. There are no sponsors, vendors, or advertisements. If you enjoy coming to this event and participate in this community, please make a donation of whatever amount you can afford. Seriously, even $1 donations help!

To keep this event free and legal with excellent sound and ART, we have some standard overhead expenses to cover.

Application fee: $150

Event permit: $500

Noise variance permit: $95

Insurance: $300

Portable toilets: $1300

Equipment rental & transport: $800

Art and decor budget $500

Generator: $150

These are the bare-minimum costs to keep this event going, and keep the production quality at the level it has been over the last decade+. Any funds raised beyond the bare minimum overhead costs will be funneled directly into community art projects and decor to be enjoyed at the event.
