We are OBX Pride, a 501 c3 charity organization and I'm reaching out to you today to support our 15th annual Outer Banks Pride celebration. Because of the political chaos coming out of DC, we have lost our big corporate sponsors. They have bowed out because of political pressure. Our main sponsor did not want photos of drag queens taken in front of their vendor booth! We know we are asking a lot but that is how much we have lost without our corporate sponsors. Our organization works tirelessly to uplift and empower our LGBTQ+ community, fostering love, acceptance, and unity. One of our main goals is to prevent LGBT teenage suicides by providing a support system that is not available from their family or friends or church.
