As the holiday season draws near, we find ourselves reflecting on the meaningful journey we've shared over the past 11 years with the Chosen Generation Community Center in Detroit during their annual Christmas celebration. Nestled in a resilient yet challenging corner of the city, this community center serves as a haven for those facing week-to-week trials. Among them are families striving to make ends meet, especially during a time when the simple joys of the season can feel out of reach.

Our mission is simple, yet profound: to ensure that every child attending CGCC's Christmas event on December 20th experiences the magic of the season with at least one special gift. What began as a modest endeavor, providing around 100 gifts in the first year, has blossomed into a heartfelt tradition. This year, our anticipation is met with excitement as we prepare to welcome over 500 kids, ages 2 to 17.

The magic of the season isn't just in the twinkling lights or the sound of carols—it's in the warmth of a shared moment, the joy of giving, and the hope we can spread.
