✨We Are What Makes A Village✨
✨✨Be Someone’s Village ✨✨——————————————
Annually, our Maternity Unit of MercyHealth in Janesville, Wisconsin, adopts those who are currently homeless and staying at House of Mercy Homeless Shelter. ⛄️❄️This is our 11th Season! Soon, these families will be moving into housing of their own. Many of these individuals have nothing to their name. Through the generosity of our staff, current and past, the community, and the well wishes and prayers from near and far, we hope each year to give these individuals a Christmas to remember and a magical, blessed fresh start during such a difficult time. ❤️
Our goal with these donations is to help the families we adopt make a “home” and give them a little boost of confidence and pride as they move forward…all with a little help from a lot of people.✨
I open up the secure donation option for “friends and family” of MercyHealth, past co-workers, friends of the community, and for those moved by the cause to make a big difference in a small, local way. The donations are listed to go to me, Megan Headington, as I will be organizing, allocating, and purchasing gifts/gift cards for the families. I have been a nurse at MercyHealth for 14 years and am humbled with this duty and the trust my community puts in me.❤️
Our project continues to grow each year. It is awe-inspiring to see Christmas Magic take place right before your eyes. With our monetary donations we have been able to purchase pots and pans, flatware, dishes, towels, shower curtains, bedding, sheets, toys, books, clothing items, winter boots, gift cards, oil change cards, and the list goes on.❤️ If you would like to purchase something off our lists specifically, please let me know and I can coordinate getting you a list and where to drop the gift off at.
Please contact me with any questions regarding House of Mercy, our fundraiser, or other ways you can help.✨✨✨
❤️Thank you and may you have a very Blessed Holiday Season❤️
