Help provide a wonderful Christmas to orphans and vulnerable children.
For the last decade we have helped International Peace Initiatives provide a new outfit to each child at the Kithoka Amani Children's Home (KACH), in rural Kenya. Because of your generosity we can give each child an outfit, shoes, underwear, socks, and pajamas. These gifts mean the world to the children. Any additional funds will go to much needed toiletries, school supplies, pens, pencils, books and school shoes and uniforms.
The video below shows the kids celebrating Christmas in 2022 and saying thank you for their gifts.
International Peace Initiatives (IPI) is a small nonprofit that provides a loving home to nearly 100 orphans and vulnerable children, and works on an array of projects to help survivors of abuse, violence, AIDS, and human trafficking. Through sustainable agriculture, education, and empowerment programs, IPI helps lift families and children out of poverty.
Over a decade ago, I visited Kenya for the first time. At KACH I met some of the strongest, bravest kids in the world. These children had survived unspeakable atrocities, each of them with a story, no person should be forced to endure. Their stories may have started tragically but because of people like YOU, IPI is able to provide a loving home to these kids.
To break the cycle of poverty, KACH prides themselves on providing the children a great education. The kids are encouraged to obtain academic excellence, they are top of their class and they all graduate from high school, and recently they celebrated their 57th College graduate!
Dr. Karambu Ringera (Founder and President) and her staff purchase the gifts locally to save money, support the local economy, and stretch each dollar to its greatest gift potential. Every donation is accounted for twice over, so you can feel confident in your donation.
