As many of you know, I am a stage 4 cancer Mummy and a below-knee amputee.

I’ve signed up for the 10k Race for Life cancer research charity running event on 21 June, to challenge not only any pre conceptions around what life as a stage 4 cancer patient looks like, but myself.

I’m hoping to show my girls that in spite of everything, Mummy’s still determined to make the most of the life she has left!

This will be my first ever running event since my amputation in June 2023.

I am currently re learning how to run with a prosthetic leg, and completing 10k is going to be both a physical and mental challenge! One that I am equally excited and nervous about.

I’m raising money for Cancer Research UK to support life saving research. I’ve set an ambitious target to raise £1,500.
