Hello! I'm raising funds for my Mum who's been battling cancer for the past 6 months. Her original diagnosis was cancer in her stomach lining, this unfortunately turned out to be a secondary cancer, which had spread from her ovaries, unfortunate as there is no surgery to remove the stomach lining, making her terminal.

6 months later she has had 6 rounds of chemotherapy and 19 rounds of bevacizumab.

Her strength and willingness to fight and get on with life is inspirational.

Taking this into account, I've decided to enter and train for a ultra marathon along the Great Ocean Road in Melbourne, a 100km long race in Septemeber.

I've also entered a 50km trail race for training on July 13th.

I'm hoping to raise funds to organize Mum a trip overseas, as she has never left New Zealand.
