100km Trail Run to Support Suicide Prevention

Donation protected
Hi everyone,

My name is Joan, and next weekend I’ll be running a 100km trail race in Australia.
A personal challenge that I’m turning into an opportunity to support a cause very close to my heart.

I’m raising money in aid of Pieta, an Irish charity that provides life-saving support to people who are self-harming, struggling with suicidal thoughts, or coping with the loss of a loved one to suicide.

Mental health struggles are deeply personal. Like many others, I’ve seen the pain these challenges can cause—and I believe no one should have to face them alone. Pieta offers free, professional, and compassionate services to those in crisis, and they rely on public donations to keep going.

Every donation will help fund therapy sessions, crisis helplines, and community outreach efforts. Together, we can make a real difference—one step, one conversation, one life at a time.

Thank you in advance for your support. Whether you donate or simply share this page, it means more than you know.

Let’s help Pieta continue to bring hope, healing, and light into the darkest of times.

More about Pieta:
Every year, nearly 500 people in Ireland die by suicide. Pieta is working to change this by offering immediate, accessible care and creating a national conversation through initiatives like Darkness Into Light. Learn more at https://www.pieta.ie.
